In July 2016, Chick-fil-A® launched a new app called Chick-fil-A One – a mobile app that gives customers a new way to order, ability to customize meals and chance to redeem and select surprise offers.
To support this launch, our agile content studio concepted a social media campaign that gave Raving Fans a way to take it their brand excitement one step further. Activating social tactics like "Tweet-to-Install" and App Download Ads, we also set out to design a unique activation that would create buzz and excitement with mobile fans, the Chick-fil-A® Emoji Keyboard.
Typically it takes most brands 14-20 days to reach 100K in downloads. However, within the first few days, the Chick-fil-A® Emoji Keyboard reach over 77K downloads pacing towards our goal of 100K.
The Chick-fil-A® Emoji Keyboard outperformed the success of “Popemoji” and exceeded movies premiere sponsorships, where there is typically high engagement.
